SYNOPSIS

​

Hedda Gabler (Jennifer Grace) is a beautiful, manipulative and scheming woman newly married to the dimwitted academic George Tesman (L.B. Deyo).  When an old flame, Eilert Lovborg (Daniel Van Thomas), returns, Hedda decides to destroy his life, jealous of his love affair with another.  Trapped but determined, Hedda tries to control everyone around her, only to see her own world unravel in tragedy.

JENNIFER GRACE AS HEDDA

Jennifer Grace received her BA from Kansas State University in 1997. She has been working as a professional actor since, most notably in a record-shattering run as Emily Webb in Tony award-winning director David Cromer’s critically acclaimed production of OUR TOWN, which she performed in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles, opposite actors such as Michael Shannon, Helen Hunt and Michael McKean, and for which she was recognized with a Theatre World Award for Outstanding Off-Broadway debut. Other New York theatre credits include: NIKOLAI AND THE OTHERS (Lincoln Center Theatre, world premiere, with Blair Brown, Michael Cerveris, John Glover and Kathryn Erbe) and THE 4TH GRADERS PRESENT AN UNNAMED LOVE SUICIDE (59E59).  Selected regional credits:  CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, TIME & THE CONWAYS, 4.48 PSYCHOSIS, BALM IN GILEAD, ARCADIA, JACK OR THE SUBMISSION, THE SEA GULL, MARAT/SADE, BLOOD WEDDING, and ANGELS IN AMERICA.  Film:  I SEE YOU (w/Helen Hunt), THE CASSEROLE CLUB (w/ Susan Traylor, Jane Wiedlin), KELLY & CAL (with Juliette Lewis) Television:  ”Inside Amy Schumer,” “VEEP,” “Billions,” “Chicago P.D.,” and “The Red Line.” She is also an audiobook narrator, VO artist, and a writer. L.B. Deyo is the creator of the motion picture The Sauce, and author of Invisible Frontier: Exploring the tunnels, ruins & rooftops of hidden New York. He's also the host of the Dionysium.

DANIEL VAN THOMAS AS EILERT LOVBORG

A Kentucky creative residing in L.A., Daniel has gratefully participated in a decade's worth of films, cable and network TV shows, theater, video games, voiceover, commercials and more. Past VO projects include lending his voice to Ultraman Zero across five feature films in the Ultraman series, video games such as Red Dead Redemption, Black Desert Online and Wasteland 3, audiobooks like Tower of Secrets and Way of the Light Warrior, and dramas including Operator, Between the Devil and In Another Room..

STEVE BALDERSON AS JUDGE BRACK

Roger Ebert gave Steve’s film Firecracker a Special Jury Award on his annual Best Films of the Year list.  A director of over 17 globally released feature films, Steve is also an audiobook narrator, artist, coach, speaker and Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

KENDALL LYNCH AS THEA

Kendall Lynch is a writer and actress, known for Forward/Backward (2009), The People You Know (2010) and Roundball (2013).

NANCY CRITCHFIELD-JONES AS AUNT JULIA

Nancy has been involved in theater, communication, and radio for the better part of 45 years.  After received her B.A. in Theater at Eastern New Mexico University, Nancy worked in radio before spending time studying  theater with Paul Baker at the Dallas Theater Center.

BECKIJO NEILL AS BERTA

BeckiJo Neil was born and raised in Kansas City. After several years of performing in theatre, she took a hiatus to make films all over the world. She is a cast member of Esther’s Folliws, a modern-day vaudeville theatre located in downtown Austin, Texas.

DAMIEN GERARD AS THE NARRATOR

Damien Gerard is a classically trained British actor known for Call of Duty Black Ops 4, Elder Scrolls, Space Command and The Tension Experience. With a background in Shakespeare, rep theatre and Immersive theatre, Damien now lives and works in Los Angeles as a successful film/TV and voice actor.
