Stop for a moment. Consider what you've known thus far. What you've seen. And go back through the puzzle. In order to go further into the world of Wamego, Kansas, and the murder of David White, we must use caution and not be overwhelmed. There is a lot of information available - and much more twisted information yet to come. FIRECRACKER is far more than simply a story of murder in small town U.S.A. When you take a look at everything you've seen (Wamego, "Queen City of the Kaw," in Session 1; The disappearance, in Session 2; The murder, in Session 3; The Carnival, in Session 4; The White Home, in Session 5; The Rosary, in Session 6), imagine what happens when you add a touch of Voodoo to the secret.

Click the links above to learn more about Voodoo, the role it played in Wamego's history, and the nature of what some call "The Devil's Land."

My dad, Clark, introduced me to Barbara Clifton, the woman who bought the White's house when it went on the market. Aside from many antiques and certain pieces of furniture (which we have kept for use in the film), there were personal items. Among them, Jimmy White's school papers and journals.
