Filming began in November 2006 at Tribal Dreams in Lincoln Nebraska, and continued throughout all of 2007 -- in Sebastopol for Tribal Fest 7, to the Mexican Riviera for the Sun Bellies belly dance cruise, to Her Majesty's home in Hollywood, California - where she was given a commendation from the City of Los Angeles for her years of artistic contribution under her given name Pleasant Gehman. We've also filmed her in Canada, several cities throughout the United Kingdom, to the south for shows in Lexington and Asheville, and in New York for Margaret Cho's off broadway hit The Sensuous Woman.
The World Premiere was held at the Renderyard International Film Festival on the 19th March in London, England. Several days later the American Premiere kicked off the dvd release at the Boston Underground Film Festival in Cambridge, MA. We also had the pleasure of screening at Tribal Fest 8 in Sebastopol!
