There will be a strictly CLOSED SET for any gay sex scenes, NO CELL PHONES ALLOWED, NO CAMERAS other than the production camera, plus an INTIMACY COORDINATOR on location for the days when explicit nudity and sex will be filmed. Each actor participating in a sex scene may bring someone with them for support.
How Nudity fits:
Nudity is crucial and fits into the plot as a main driver. Our leading character, Michael, begins his journey as a man just out of a bad relationship. He turns to sex as a means of trying to heal himself, or feel connection, but he does so in a superficial way, finding sex hookups that aren't meaningful, and lack any kind of emotional depth. These fleeting sexual hookups leave Michael often feeling more alone than he did before. Until he meets Marco, who teaches him how to not only be a good lover, but to learn about desire, his own sensory experience, and ultimately how to love another person and experience sex in a sincere way, which provokes a radical spiritual reawakening for Michael.
This film is an adaptation of a true account as written by film director Steve Balderson in his erotic memoir "Year of the Whore" (Punk Hostage Press, 2023)
For the role of MARCO:
During the gay sex scenes there will be:
1. Full nudity with simulated sex in an erotic and passionate style.
2. Regarding the choice for which specific simulated sexual activities are filmed rests with both the actor playing Marco and the actor playing Michael whether both gives or receives, or just one or the other, or neither. The specific situations will only be considered if they are consensual with both actors.
3. There will be actual kissing, groping, tongues on bodies, hands on bodies, nude bodies pressed together and rolling around passionately.
4. There will be full frontal and/or rear nudity, occasionally prolonged throughout the scene.
For the roles of THE LOVERS/HOOKUPS:
During the gay sex scenes there will be:
