Lou Ann Thomas has gained a well-deserved national reputation as a writer and humorist. Her slice-of-life columns appear in Northern Life, a supplement of The Topeka Capital-Journal, and in The Wichita Eagle. Her commentaries can be heard on northeast Kansas' National Public Radio affiliate, KANU in Lawrence, and her feature stories appear in regional and national publications such as KANSAS! magazine and American Profile. She is also a member of the improvisational comedy troupe, Just for Fun.
