  Bruce Daniels

BRUCE DANIELS

Bruce Daniels is an actor and comedian from Chicago, IL. Dubbed "the main fag behind America's number one hag" by Out Magazine, Daniels started performing stand-up after meeting comedian Margaret Cho on the set of the never-released Can't Stop Dancing, in which they played spandex-clad lovers.

Daniels has since opened for Cho on her Revolution, State of Emergency, and Assassin tours. His performance, described as "hilariously personal" and "comedy meets story-telling" by Gay Wired, was captured in the concert films of Revolution and Assassin, now available on DVD. Blending the personal and the political with deadpan ease puts Daniels in the rare class of comedians able to deliver laughs with social relevance. Look for him in the upcoming comedy penned by Cho, "Bam Bam and Celeste."

Bruce is currently developing material for a one man show and can be seen weekly in Los Angeles hosting his new comedy and music showcase, "Drunk on Stage: Comedy with No Inhibitions." Held every Tuesday at Akbar in LA, "Drunk On Stage" features a fresh lineup each week and showcases both up-and-coming and established comedians and musicians. Past guests have included Roy Cruz, Page Hurwitz, Kathleen Madigan, TRIPPP and Margaret Cho.
