KATHLEEN
WILHOITE
Kathleen Wilhoite grew up in Santa Barbara, California. She began
singing in her church choir in first grade. Two years later, while
singing on stage with The Carpenters at the Santa Barbara County
Bowl, she stopped the show so that she could pull up her knee socks
and got a huge laugh from the sold out crowd. Kathleen claims "it
was then I knew I had to be a performer." Kathleen eventually
became the youngest member of the Santa Barbara Songwriters Guild.
After high school, Kathleen enrolled in the USC Drama School, and
two months later had landed her first movie role.
Kathleen won the Q Award for her portrayal of Chloe Lewis, the drug
addict, on the hit television show "E.R." She has also
appeared in the hit shows "Mad About You," "Twin
Peaks," "Ally McBeal," "24," "Law
& Order," and "Will & Grace."
Kathleen
has appeared in wonderful films like "Lorenzo's Oil" with
Susan Sarandon and Nick Nolte; "Drowning Mona" with Danny
DeVito and Bette Midler; "Nurse Betty" with Morgan Freeman,
Chris Rock, Greg Kinnear and Renée Zellweger; "Color
of Night" with Bruce Willis; and "Pay it Forward"
with Kevin Spacey and Helen Hunt.
In Steve
Balderson's Firecracker, Kathleen plays the nosey neighbor Jessica.
